[Fashion] Marissa Cooper

While watching The OC, I was compelled by the characters, music, real life element and especially the fashion of the show. Personally I'm really into 90's style fashion, the simplicity yet the unusual styles and prints are really fashionable. Marissa Cooper would have to be on the top of my list of tv show characters that I envy their wardrobe. Let's face it Mischa Barton who plays Marissa can pull off anything and look absolutely stunning. Marissa's personal style mixes designer pieces and often a touch of vintage glamour.

Wearing simple polo shirts and vintage skirts, she really represents upper class Orange County fashion. Marissa will be seen wearing cami's, retro vests, subtle heels and fitted vintage pants. She doesn't really have a main piece of clothing, instead her wardrobe includes almost everything!

Marissa mixes unusual patterns with key wardrobe piece's to create a vintage feel. When going to formal events you will spot her in a knee length dress with fine detailing. Often the fan of halter tops and thin straps. One thing that I've noticed is that she rarely wears boots or heels, often the fan of the comfortable ballet flats.

Most of the pieces in Marissa's wardrobe have a feminine vibe, all garments are made out of expensive fabric and wear a well known label. Looking through all her outfits in envy I cannot spot one thing I would change. Marissa is flawless and her wardrobe is the envy of many an exact reflection of the character.

The Vampire Diaries - Tyler and Caroline

So I recently started watching Vampire Diaries and I was surprised by how brilliant, witty and entertaining it turned out to be! I know Elena and Stefan are suppose to be the main couple which make you envy their romance. But personally I find Stefan extremely annoying he's all I only drink puppy blood and skip around in the sunshine with my abnormally huge forehead. Damen on the other hand I believe would be a much better match for Elena. But all in all Tyler and Caroline are by far my favourite couple in the show.

I love how their relationship really blossomed from friends who were their for each other always to a passionate romance. It's simply adorable how Caroline helped Tyler come to terms with what he was becoming. Even when he said for her to go because it wasn't safe she refused because she wasn't going to let him fight this battle alone. A werewolf's bite is fatal to a vampire and yet she risked everything to make sure he was okay. Let's face the facts Caroline and Matt were the worst couple, he didn't accept her for who she was. As Caroline and Tyler really understand each other and accept each other with all their flaws.

Caroline would have to be one of my favourite in the show, her personality is just so unique and raw. She's always true to herself and doesn't hide the fact she's not perfect, she knows she isn't but yet she still be's the best person she can be. I love the quote from a conversation Caroline has with Stefan about her change into a vampire. Stefan: "When someone becomes a vampire all their natural behaviours get sort of amplified." Caroline: "So your saying that now I'm basically an insecure, neurotic, control freak on crack."
On the other hand to be honest I didn't really like Tyler in season 1. I grew to love him when you saw the whole other side to his personality. The one that's actually scared, unsure, protective and loyal. I love how he's always got Caroline's back and he let her go because he knew it was for the best. "I think I'm falling for her", he let her go because he loved her. You have no idea how much I was violently fist pumping when they kissed at Elena's birthday party. I love Caroline and Tyler together they are so adorable and not to mention Tyler is extremely hot!

"I'm staying right here, I'm not going anywhere." - Caroline Forbes.

Willa Holland

Okay, so I've recently become like obsessed with Willa Holland. She's got an incredible taste in fashion and has an unique and unusual beauty about her. She first came to my attention playing Marissa's little sister Catlin in 'The OC'. But when I really fell in love with her was when she guest starred on 'Gossip Girl' playing the dare devil model Agnesse. Her acting is absolutely breath taking as she adds this certain flare and un-tameness to her characters. Strutting her stuff in plaid dresses and grunge outfits she's also become a fashion idol for me. I simply love her look and how she puts an outfit together with ease but makes it look flawless.

If you look on tumblr you will find loads of posts about Willa and modelling shots of this unique model/actress. With her perfectly high cheek bones, dusty brown hair and piercing green eyes you feel at awe of her beauty. Willa is known for going out partying regularly much of her parents disapproval and living her life not caring about the consequences. I envy her view on life and how she isn't afraid of what might happen and just lives in the moment here and now.

Her style mainly consists of shades and dull colours, Willa wears a lot of grey tones and occasionally the odd navy blue. She doesn't really dress up to the nines, preferring basic pieces of clothing and layering them she achieves a causal style. The odd band tee and leather jacket give her outfits a grunge feel which she often accompanies with a boyish pair of boots. Some how Willa manages to make the most simple outfit look a million dollars. I truly admire how real she is and how she isn't afraid to be herself in this world no matter what others think.

Gilmore Girls - Rory and Jess

Jess Mariano and Rory Gilmore in my biased opinion belong together. Jess comes off as this tough kid that doesn't care about his education or how he hurts the people around him. He flanks school and regularly gets into punch ups. But Rory doesn't fall for his false persona she quotes, "you could be anything to want to be."She doesn't fall for his my life isn't important crap, she believes the best in him and sees his potential. I find it absolutely adorable how they both share the same interests and really understand each other.

 I truly believe Jess should have been Rory's first, he should have been her college boyfriend and maybe even her husband one day. Logan sent Rory on a down hill spiral, ever since he walked into her life a little piece of Rory disappeared each day. When Jess and Rory meet up in season 6 he helps her realise that she isn't being herself. Nothing she's doing makes sense dropping out of Yale, fighting with her mother and doing nothing with her life. Jess knows Rory inside and out, he helps her get out of the rut she's in. Just as she did for him, he returns the favour.

 In season 6 when Jess returns he brings the extraordinary news that he wrote a published book. Claiming he couldn't have done it without Rory, all he needed was someone to believe in him and Rory always did. Their romance is incredibly spell binding, intense, joyful and passionate. Rory and Jess are what you may call soul mates but I believe their much more. These two characters are one of my most loved television couples of all time!

[Fashion] Abbey Lee Kershaw

Abbey Lee the model who doesn't give a care in the world about anything and is perfectly fine with being different and unusual. Abbey Lee's style is quite difficult to describe, she often wears jewel and natural tones contrasting with a variety of patterns. Abbey also mixes a sort of gothic vibe into her outfit's that I adore. She sends the impression that she just went to an op shop and put on any garment she saw. But I love her style and find it absolute genius how she manages to wear so many contrasting pieces and pull it off.

Abbey seems to be a fan of the famous maxi skirt she often wears it in pale shades or vibrant patterns. Dressing it up with a boned corset and down playing the look with winter layers.

During the colder months you can see Abbey wearing thick winter coats often in beige's, camel tones and deep maroons. She may wear them over a minimalist dress or paired with apogee stockings and a printed hat to bring personality to the ensemble. Abbey often pairs her outfits with high heeled boots, she doesn't really wear any pumps or sandals.

Jewelry plays a main factor in completing Abbey's outfits. She usually layers chunky beaded necklaces containing crucifixes. Sometimes you can see Abbey pairing an outfit with a cheetah print clutch or emerald faux fur coat to add a touch of glamour. To dress like Abbey remember miss matching is the key you want to stand out of the crowd!

Billie Piper

When I was eight years old I grew up watching Billie Piper playing the role of Rose in the hit English series Dr Who. I was fair obsessed with her and the Doctors relationship and really wanted them to end up together forever in love. And this was at the age of eight, where I cried when the time rift sealed and Rose was stuck in a parallel universe unable to see the Doctor ever again. That scene where the Doctor used all the energy from the sun just to say goodbye but didn't say those three words in time. "How long are you going to stay with me?" asked the doctor, "Forever", replied Rose. These years in my child hood was when Billie Piper became one of my role models and most loved actresses.

Although I found out about her singing career my farther really didn't appreciate me singing 'Something deep inside' over and over again. Only two lines of the chorus because I didn't know anything else, I drove him mad! My music taste is a lot different of what Billie sung but her talent was shown in all the songs she produced. Her flexibility shows how much talent she possesses and how much she is an inspiration for me.

Early on this year I began watching the new English tv series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Which is based on the books written by the famous French call girl Belle. I was expecting it to be brilliant, hilarious and entertaining as of all Billie's works and I was correct. Billie plays the lead role of the "high class call girl" Belle, who shares her experiences and feeling about her life almost as if she's narrating her life to you. I liked this take on using direct speech to the camera to make it feel as if the audience is her diary and your getting everything first hand. Belle begins in the first episode stating the facts about her life, "the first thing you should know about me, is that I'm a whore." The show portrays a different side to prostitution and shows how the job effects your relationships and choices in life. Although the series only aired for four seasons I found myself wanting more and becoming emotionally attached to Belle. The show paints the choices we make in life sacrificing our own dreams to keep our loved ones safe beautifully. I found Secret Diary of a Call Girl entertaining, emotional, witty and unique.

Billie Piper is one of the most beautiful people in the world. She seems so down to earth and has that strikingly unusual beauty about her. Everything she does turns out as a piece of art work and I aspire to her as a role model and an extraordinary human being.

Victoria's Secret (VSS)

So lately I've become obsessed with Victoria's Secret, I really want to be a Victoria's Secret Angel what girl wouldn't want to be? You get to model beautiful lingerie, have a blast while strutting your stuff down the cat walk and wear those famous pink robes!

Victoria's Secret caters for a wide range of women their line includes lingerie, pyjamas, sports wear, day wear, beauty products, swimwear and the pink range for younger girls. Each piece is extremely well made, fashionable and makes you feel as if your an angel too.

The Victoria's Secret Angels are from all over the world some from Brazil, America and Australia. Each one of these angels are incredibly lucky and beautiful and believe me I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous.

First of all you have the well known Aussie [Miranda Kerr] who has just had a beautiful baby boy called Finn with her long time American partner Orlando Bloom. She is truly a beautiful person inside and out and credits her mother who brought her up eating organic food for her amazing figure!



Then you have Erin Heatherton from America who is described as the nerdy one of all the angels. She enjoys learning, reading and experiencing new challenges. Erin is quite the dare devil and announced one of her new years resolutions was to go sky diving! She is actually my favourite of all the angels as she seems so comfortable with herself and she's the definition of natural beauty.

Adriana Lima is described by the other angels as incredibly sexy and seductive. Adriana is originally from Brazil, she is a bubbly person who oozes confidence and mystery. Even at the age of fifteen Adriana was enrolled in a modelling school where she blossomed into the angel she is now!

Chanel Iman is the youngster of the group, her personality is described as cheeky and hyper active. Born in America she is best known for her work on VSS, where she does regular campaigns for the PINK range. She has stunning features and a bubbly personality that shines through.

Candice Swanepoel is the smouldering model originally from South African where she was spotted by a scout at the age of fifteen. Candice is an extremely stunning angel who enjoys the photo shoots for the VSS swimwear range especially.

 Lily Aldridge is the cute and unusual beauty who is dating the lead singer of the famous band Kings of Leon. Lily is from America she is a fun, bubbly and sweet personality!

Next you have Alessandra Ambrosio who is originally from Brazil, who just loves the feeling of being up on the cat walk and embracing the amazing feeling being an angel gives you.

It's one of my biggest dreams to become a Victoria's Secret Angel, the lifestyle seems so magical and exciting I'd love to be a part of that. On my bucket list go to a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, I think it should be on yours too!
